San Diego County Fires!

This is so insane!
I’m in Oceanside in the “Fire Mountain” area watching 8news, keeping an eye on the KPBS google map, their Twitter page and the SD county emergency page and trying to keep from going insane… my mom and younger sister are in Vista so I’m keeping an eye on all the areas and our office in Fallbrook is closed of course, the newspaper is being put together in Temecula this week and they are posting updates to their website…
This is a terrible week for San Diego county and for So Cal in all. I’m really pleased to see how many companies are coming together and donating and I’m very glad that all these places like Jack Murphy Stadium (er, qualcomm…) are taking care of evacuees! I haven’t heard any updates about the Wild Animal Park and I’m hoping all the animals are doing ok.
